Day after Valentine's

So supper got de-railed last night. But in a good way. Mitch, one of our maintenance guys came into my office yesterday, gave me a rose, and then asked my how to make fondue. So after giving him recipes etc, I decided that I wanted to have fondue. So I trotted off to the store after work, picked up the ingredients and headed home. So we had a traditional swiss fondue with bread, green and red peppers, and steamed asparagus. Then for our next course we had an oil fondue that we cooked sirloin steak, jumbo shrimp and mushrooms, with dipping sauces on the side. We had plans for a chocolate fondue with strawberries and bananas for dessert but we were so stuffed! So we'll have it tonight. But it was such a nice evening of talking and eating. I LOVE Fondue for that, you can't rush it.

I'm so glad it's Friday. I'm exhausted and can't wait for my two days off. I'm hoping to get all my cleaning done tonight so that I can have the weekend to just chill. I've talked alot about scrapping in the last week but have got none done so I'm pushing that in to the plans too. Other than that, we have no plans this weekend. I may try to convince Randy to go for a drive this weekend and take some pictures of the area, it's nice out, supposed to be up to +1 by Monday, so I thought we should take advantage and do some sight-seeing before we move. We'll see, I'm not so sure what there is to sight see here anyhow, LOL!

Five more weeks of work left, can't wait to be done. They are going to suck too because we are moving the office to a new location by the end of the month then June is going on Holidays from March 5th for like 3 weeks. I'm hoping they plan to have someone else here to deal with her work because I am certainly not doing it. For one I don't know how and for two, I don't want to learn it. They also need to find someone to do leasing because I think I'm done before she leaves...

Anyhow, other fun news! Last night, Emily, the cleaning supervisor, told me that she is throwing a baby shower for me on Tuesday and has invited all the girls that I worked with here that were laid off. I was so surprised! So now I have that to look forward to. I'll have to remember my camera so I can post some pictures here!
