~Family Photo Shoot–Summer 2011~

Well I finally got my photos from our photo shoot we did this summer with Heaton Photography.  Life got in the way and I kept putting off ordering them, then I lost the list, then I spent all the money….On and on.  But finally the other day I called up Sheena and ordered my prints.  Within a week she had them to me, now I just need to get them up on the wall!  I only ordered a few from her because I wasn’t sure what look I was going for in our wall photo gallery so now that I have the disk I can get whatever I need.

Anyhow, the pictures turned out fabulously, she did a great job as usual!  I thought I would share a few favourites on here!  You can click on the set to see the whole picture, they are kind of squished on here!

I love the look of this picture so much I’m getting it made up for a focal point in our basement!  It has such a curvature to it that makes it so interesting!

Anyhow, love the photos, will treasure them always.  Let me know which are your favourites!

~Pumpkin Carving!!!~

We carved our pumpkins Friday night and Ethan had a blast pulling the seeds out and helping Daddy make something cool!! Not much else to say…here are the pics!

Here is the final look!  The face was from a stencil, the ghosties Randy did freehand.  I think he did a great job!!!

~Family Photo Shoot Today!!!~

So today we are meeting up with Sheena from Heaton Photography to get our family pictures done.  I’m super excited about getting some professional pictures done and in such a creative way.  We will be ending up with a fall themed shoot, not the vibrant summer one I had envisioned…but we’ll get it next year…and this years’ will be gorgeous anyhow.

I’ve been obsessing about what we all should wear but I didn’t have much time or money to make it exactly what I wanted so I’ve had to make it work with what we already have…It should be okay…I’m just being a psycho!

Anyhow, I look forward to sharing them with you, sneak peeks of course, as I get them back from her!

~New Family Pictures!~

Wow we had such a beautiful day out last weekend. I'm savoring it to last me through the next few weeks of hard work!

We stopped in at a little off the beaten path park and took some new summer family pics. Perfect setting there and we got some good ones! So let me know what you think!

~A day at the Park~

We had a beautiful fall day here today...probably one of the last for this year. So we decided to slip down to the park to take some pictures of our little family before we missed the chance. It was gorgeous out and there were a few other people enjoying the park as well.

We took our camera, tripod and some props....and so here are the pics that we got!

Oh and I almost forgot, here are more pics of Ethan dressed up for Halloween!!! I emailed a few out yesterday but here are a couple more.

We had a costume change for kicks too! I liked him better as the Cheetah then the mouse.... Also Cole and Mary stopped by and got dressed up like pirates so I shot a few pics of them as well. Cole looked quite dashing as a pirate!

~A Day at the Park~

We had a lovely visit with Mike while he was here last weekish. (it's been longer then a week I know but whatever!) Anyhow, as I'm sure you can imagine funds are limited in my house right now and Grande Prairie isn't known for having alot of fun things to do anyhow. Thankfully Mike is fully satisfied by being outdoors. He's an outdoor loving person after my own heart! Anyhow we planned a picnic at the beautiful river park not far out of town and spent the better part of an afternoon just hanging out, going for walks, taking pictures and enjoying being outdoors.

I asked him if he would play photographer for us and take some family pics for us as we only had one of all three of us. He, of course, agreed and we got some fairly decent pics. Ethan was not in the mood so it was a bit of a challenge to get him to look the least bit happy...but they are not meant to be perfect...just to represent our life! So here are some of the pics from that day...again, not perfect but our life!
