~Home from our Holidays!~

We had such a great holiday and we want to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to Sharen and Steve and family for having us! It was so nice to get to know Randy's family and spend time with them. They are a warm, loving beautiful family and we are so happy to have spent time with them and will definitely be continuing to keep in touch and visit them when we can.

So what did we do? Well we had a long drive there on Friday August 17. We left Calgary around 7am and arrived in Salt Lake City around 9:30pm with many stops on the way. Here are some pics of our drive down. (Did I mention that Randy got me my Digital Camera that I've wanted for like 3 years for my birthday!!!)

You get the idea of how long the drive was and how entertaining the scenery! I took this whil the vehicle was going down the road... Randy was the driver...

We spent Saturday just getting to know everyone, then on Sunday the fun began!!! We went out to Bear Lake on Sharen & Steve's boat and went tubing. It was the first time Randy had been on a motorboat before so he was pretty excited. So here are a few shots of us on the lake!

Oh yeah, that's me! I totally went tubing! Scared shitless, but in the end I had a blast! Steve was nice enough to take me on a baby ride!

We visited Temple Gardens on Monday and it is certainly gorgeous. My favorite shot of the trip of Randy as well as some of the grounds:
