We had a blast at this concert last night! My Birthday present! He puts on an amazing show! We were so surprised and happy to hear his opening act Angelique Kidjo Norfolk. I was amused at how playful Josh was. He did Aerosmith karaoke for us! Plus set the stage for a rave next time he's in town, LOL! He cracked jokes the whole night through. Even showed us his 'magic show' his piano coming from the stage floor. He joked that there was no use having your own stage if you couldn't have your piano pop from the floor and that the piano had gotten quite the attitude about having it's own grand entrance. Angelique tried to teach him to dance after they did a beautiful duet but alas, he has no moves! She is quite the wild dancer though, LOL! She's going to be on tour here next year we will be looking into getting tics!
He played all our favorites and a few new ones too. He sang while walking through the floor seating. One of my staff, Kaitlin, was there and he touched her hand, she's over the moon! One of Randy's colleagues had floor seating and was able to go up to the side of the stage towards the end and she said she was eye to eye with Josh while he sang, she was glowing when we ran into her on the C-train.
Overall it was a great night out and such a pleasant reminder of why we work so hard! I will never stop enjoying going to such great productions!
I'm on holidays now and tomorrow we head out to Utah! Can't wait! I probably won't get a chance to post until I'm back so stay tuned for some fab pictures!!!
