~More Pictures from our Trip~

Okay so these pics are from our last day in Salt Lake. Tanya (Randy's Aunt) had a lovely BBQ at her house and invited the whole family. Her son Bobby had just got home from being in Afganistan for 14 months. It was so nice to meet everyone and especially special because of the family being reuinited with Bobby after so long. So Tanya had a cake made to welcome him home and was so thoughtful that she put a Happy Birthday message for me and Randy's cousin Jen on it. I celebrated my birthday in Vegas so I didn't get a cake etc. So these are some pics from that night. We took family pics of everyone too!

The Grounds' desendants. From the left: Jen, Sharen, Daniel (upside down), Tanya, Gatlin (little guy) Bobby, and Randy.
The whole family with spouses.

Ummmm American Beer... enough said. SO you all know how much beer I drink irl right? None. I drank 5 this night and didn't even get the slightest buzz. Weird. Light ass beer!

Kind of explains itself eh? Well this is what I did on my 29th Birthday. Went to the Hoover Dam and then shopping. It sure is a Damn Huge Dam. (LOL!) We took the tour where you get to go down into the dam and see the generators etc. It was cool.

Well here we come Las Vegas! Honestly we didn't really like it. Too damn hot, 42 to 46 degrees when we were there with a hot wind. Nasty crowds of people smoking and drinking and being stupid. We did go to Cirque de Soleils production 'O' and it was pretty amazing. I would probably only go back to Vegas for a quick trip in the winter to take in some productions and shows. That is what I got out of it. On a side note: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EAT ANY VIETNAMESE FOOD IN LAS VEGAS, THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE!!!

This is the gorgeous scenery on the way to Vegas from Utah. Ummm not the most interesting but the dust swirls and cactus where neat. I couldn't resist a pic with the cactus.

So I don't hide the fact that I love Mexican Food so while we were in Salt Lake we wanted to take Sharen and Steve for dinner for having us. They took us for some pretty amazing Thai food one night we were there so we decided to go to a Mexican restaurant that Steve's coworker recommended. Food was decent, massively HUGE portions and a cool salsa bar with like 5 different types of Salsa for the chips that they put on the table for free. So I had to have some guacamole for my chips, mmmmm love the guac! So we got shots of it being made tableside. The poor girl making it surely thought that we were loser Canadians who had never seen a Mexican before, LOL! So here we are having dinner, and me with a yummy margarita!

So that's the highlights of our trip other than Yellowstone. I just got them back cause they were on film and I have to upload them to the computer so I'll get them up in a few. There are some AWESOME pics on there. Old Faithful is something to see I tell you! Completely amazing so stay tuned!
