~I'm Tired~

So today Randy was off and we decided to go on a family walk. You see, even though I'm not talking about it on here, I am trying to lose some weight. So I've been eating well, walking daily and keeping moving as much as I can. It's working! 1 week down and 5lbs gone forever. I'm 8% of the way to my goal! Anyhow we thought that a good famly activity for us would be to go on a nice walk. Beautiful day, sun shining, nice breeze to keep you cool.

So off we go. We walk from our house to the park, only a couple of blocks. Once in the park we go the way I normally go. I hit the fork where I usually turn to come back home in a circle and Randy says, no let's walk this way, and proceeds to go straight. Whatever I figure. I thought we would just go in a different loop and head back home. No, not Randy. Apparently I am now on the training team for the freaking Olympics! TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER we get home. Now if that sounds whiny, I apologize but it is. How he tolerated me whining for two hours straight is beyond me. I could hardly put one foot in front of the other by the time I got home. I'm literally going to sleep like a rock tonight and won't be able to walk tomorrow. I know, I know, it's good for me but talk about overdoing it! I'm not going to want to walk now for a freaking week!

So after our marathon to kill me, we hit the showers, got dressed up, dropped Ethan off with Mary and went on a date. We went to a Chinese restaurant that we were told was expanding their menu to include Vietnamese. Unfortunatly for us they haven't yet. So we had msg laden chinese food. It was good, I'll give them that. Then we had two hours to kill before a movie so we went home for a quick minute and then went to Starbucks for a coffee. We had a good chat...haven't really seen much of each other for a week. Then we went to the theatre to see the new Mummy movie. It SUCKED! Super duper sucked. I seriously wanted to jab my eyes out instead of watching it. Once that torture was over we picked up our little guy and came home. It was a nice night out and I'm so glad that we have the opportunity to do it. Thanks alot to Mary for making it possible. She knows that I will return the favor.

Anyhow we are gearing up to head to our Moms houses on Saturday. My Mom isn't home, she's in Calgary but I'm taking advantage of the fact that she isn't home and am painting her addition. So if you're wanting to lend a hand give me a call! We'll be between Vegreville and Hardisty all week and then I'm hoping to make a quick spin to Hanna to spend a night with Mike & Melissa and see them. When we get back home Randy is leaving for about a week to do a construction job with Brent. Busy, busy schedule for us!

Oh and please watch for weird emails from me. My computer has something and it's sending out weird emails from my yahoo account. I'm trying to figure it out but so far my virus scan is coming up empty. So I will preface any emails to you with a subject line that says SAFE TO OPEN for a few days until I get it figured out. If it doesn't say that just delete it. Don't hit spam because they will can my email account on me. I've had it happen before, not fun!

Anyhow I'm off to bed. I'll share some pictures with you all tomorrow.
