~What to Do With Your Time~

So what do you do when you are on day three of a long weekend that you are spending by yourself; it's snowing and -20 degrees outside, housekeeping is done, nothing on TV or internet worth watching or doing and you have wonderful light coming through your patio door from the overcast and snowy day outside. Not to mention you've been going through your clothes over the course of the weekend and find that one dress you are convinced would make you look uber cute preggo? Why you set up your tripod and new camera and take pictures of yourself of course!!! I've been dying to do a maternity shoot and I'm really too impatient to wait, so I did a mini one this afternoon at home. I found this cute polka dot dress that I have and I *knew* it would look too cute in preggo! So I cleared a spot near the light coming in from the patio door, set up my tripod and these are some of the shots I got. Let me tell you how creative you need to be when you are doing this by yourself! You need something for the camera to focus on to set the timer (I don't have a remote yet) so I used my broom! It worked! Anyhow, without further ado...here are the fruits of my labor straight out of the camera. No photoshop for me yet! But I did use this cool slide show maker for blogs...
