Thank goodness for Weekends!!!

Oh how I love Saturdays and Sundays now that I have a Mon-Fri job! It's something to look forward to starting at 9:30am on Monday, perks me up at 3:22pm on Wednesday and is what makes me get out of bed at 8:47am on Friday to be to work for 9am. Ahhh.... now that it is here it is so hard to decide what to do first that I just like to sit and think about it...with a chocolate milkshake and a chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie. Should I read the next installment in the Confessions of a Shopaholic series for fun, the Dave Ramsey Money Makeover for knowledge, scrapbook for a creative release from the stresses of life, clean house for sanity or just sit on here and type and ramble so that you all are entertained? For now, you win...but later I have a feeling that I will be doing a bit of each of the others mentioned.

So there is actually a news flash for Ft Nelson! I know, a shocker eh? Nothing every happens here that is newsworthy! Anyhow as I drug my hiney out the door this morning..er afternoon... I noticed that the town was even more hazy then usual... odd... but who knows what will happen in butt %#@$ nowhere (not sure why that highlighted btw?) Anyhow so I drive towards the library and see a HUGE cloud of smoke to the left... so being the snoopy little thing I am I think, hey A&W is down that way, I can totally get a chocolate milk shake and rubberneck on my way by! So I head for A&W and what do I see? The Thriftlodge hotel in ashes!!! I know, holey smokes! The whole thing, poof! gone! It was a pretty big hotel too with a restaurant and everything. What's odd is that as I was laying in bed this morning trying to convince Randy to get up and make me breakfast I thought to myself, "Self, we haven't been to the restaurant at the Thrift Lodge before, maybe Randy will get up and take us there and they might actually have Eggs Benedict on the menu" But then the idea passed and I ended up with toast for breakfast. So now I'm a little pissed. What if they actually did have Eggs Benedict on the menu? Now I can't get it anywhere in this town!!! Will the craziness and deprivation of living in the middle of nowhere ever end??? Ughh.

Anyhow, aside from that being on fire, my house stinks and it occurred to me that I packed all the candles I bought at the fantastic partylite party I held last summer and they are in storage in Calgary. So I'm about to go online to see if there is a consultant here. Hahahahaha, I know, I crack myself up! But maybe I can find one that will feel sorry for me and send it in the mail. I love their exotic spice candles and amazingly enough, they don't give me migraines. So I figure it's worth the ridiculous amount of money you spend on them.

Hmmm what else is there to ramble about? My chocolate shake is pretty good...

Oh I know! We aren't moving this weekend. We moved it to next weekend because everyone is really busy and tired out from this past week. Randy and I will move over a few things tomorrow and Randy is getting one of the guys to help move over the computer desk and the lazyboy because our internet is being hooked up there on Monday. Lord knows that we need to be able to have our internet! So while we still will have everything at the one apt, we likely will be spending the week at the other since the internet will be there. As the world turns...

I'll be going to the dr next week to see what he can tell me from the u/s. I've been having some pain in my hoo-hoo also so I want to ask him about that. Last night I debated getting Randy to run me to the hospital because it hurt so bad but I laid down and had a nap for a couple of hours and felt better after that. I'm worried it is something wrong with the placenta and that I'll end up on bed rest. With my high blood pressure it can happen so I'm trying to take it easy when I can because I think I would go out of my mind on bed rest. So I'm going to call on Monday and see if I can get in on Wednesday. I figure by then I'll be needing a break from work...

Well I'm off. I decided that I will tidy up a bit, pack a couple of totes then snuggle down in my lazyboy with my next confessions book. I also got the Sisterhood series of books from my sister Mary the other day as a late Christmas present (THANKS Mary) so I'm looking forward to digging into them too. I LOVE my library card that I got last weekend. I can get any book, movie, CD, etc for free. I've got Lost season 2 requested right now. Cool eh? Who knew that you could get as many movies as you can from them. So much better for us too since movies are like $8.99 a rental here. So looking forward to using that resource more to save us some moola!

So friends/family, have a fun-filled relaxing weekend. Give me a ring if you want, I'm available for a chat!
