~I laughed till I thought my sides would split...~

When I was talking to my sister Mary last night. Okay, I apologize in advance Mary for sharing this story for all to read but realy there is only like maybe 10 people who read this anyhow. So onwards to the story... Mary just went on a 3 day Mexican cruise for Christian woman last weekend and just got back last Tuesday. So she called me yesterday to tell me about the water, the sand, the dolphins, the sun...you get the point, I wanted to choke her with my jealousy.

So to get her off the topic of the cruise and all that I asked her how Mobile, AL was. That is where she got on the cruise and she spent a day or so there. So she proceeded to tell me about the stuff she did there blah,blah,blah... you get the pic. So then she tells me that her and anther lady she had met on the cruise were walking around Mobile together the night they got off the ship. They stopped at a bench to wait on the bus and there was an older lady there that Mary struck up a conversation with. (If you know my sister Mary then you will know that she will start talking to anyone on the street) She could tell that this lady was likely blind/had a vision impairment of some sort. So she started asking genereal questions of her and found out that she was a nun. (Somehow she missed the habit?!?!?) Anyhow so they chat for a few minutes and somehow the topic of finances comes up. I guess this lady just went OFF on Mary telling her that it was rude to ask such and thing and did she not have manners and on and on and on. Mary of course was shocked because she certainly didn't mean to ask anything inappropriate and tried apologizing but I guess this lady just kept yelling at her like a crazy woman. To the point that Mary said that her nice warm fuzzy Christian bubble popped and she wanted to tell the lady to F&$@ right off!

So okay. Picture this in your head again. Mary gets off a ship full of Christian women and courses and la-di-da, then strikes up a conversation with an OLD, BLIND NUN and gets told off and yelled at in public!!! Oh My God I about peed my pants when she was telling me this!!! She said it totally burst her happy Christian bubble and she just wanted to strangle the OLD, BLIND NUN!!!! Best laugh I've had in a long time. Just the queerness of the situation deserves a chuckle. Sorry Mary, kind of...

Today has been a good day so far. We got up, had breakie, cleaned house then baked two batches of cookies. We made Peanut Butter for Randy and Dbl Choc Chip with Premium dark choc chips for me. OMG they are so good. I've already had 3 of them and I'm pretty sure I've got a buzz. I've got beans on the stove cooking for chili. I've never cooked beans before so I'm kind of wondering how that will work...we'll see. It's a nice assortment of beans designed for chili. It's snowing and cold here today so I'm staying indoors and plan on getting into my scrapping room in about an hour. Gonna get the chili going then start playing while it cooks all day. Randy of course is playing World of Warcraft. I guess it's good though, it only costs us $15 a month and it entertains him endlessly. I shouldn't complain I guess... I would like my TV hooked up though, I've gone a month now without it. I really need to get that booked. We get reimbursed for it through Star Choice it's just paying upfront sucks.

Anyhow I'm off, maybe I'll get a chance to post some pics later!
