~Good Sunday Morning~

How's everyone today? I'm tired but otherwise doing well. I work today at my store and then at 7pm tonight I'm having a little get together with all my staff to say good-bye. It's been a bit of a emotional roller-coaster as the week has wound down. At the managers' meeting last week I couldn't even say good-bye to some people, I was too choked up so I just left instead. Last night after I worked all day at the Beacon Hill store I went to my mall for something to eat and stopped by the store to say hi to everyone. Janny, one of the young girls that works for me was asking me when my last day was... so she hands me a bag from the Bay and says, "Here, this is for you" I open up the bag and started crying. She got me a Winnie the Pooh stuffed bear that's holding a frame that says "My Little Honey" and it winds up and plays the Winnie the Pooh song, plus a pair of white baby booties! I was so touched, the little stinker didn't have to get me anything!

So I went and grabbed something to eat and came back to the store to eat it and as I'm sitting there I looked up and saw that my in-box was stuffed with gold wrapped presents. Jess came to the backroom and I asked her what it was all about and she said, "I don't know, maybe you should read the note" So I grab two notes and sit down to read them. Ummm... yeah...can you picture me sitting with a burger in one hand and Huge Alligator tears pouring off my face? Yeah that was me! Kaitlin and Morgan wrote me the most sincere, heartfelt letters that I have ever read. The comments that they made in their letters are why I get up and go to work every day. They are such special girls. So then I opened the presents, which were from Kaitlin. She got a package of pacifiers, a package of bibs, and a baby blanket! So then the alligator tears started again! I was soaked from crying! Thankfully the store was closed by this time so no one saw me when I went out front and was telling Jess and crying some more! I will cherish those letters forever!

So I am going into tonights' get together with a box of Kleenex because I know it will be a tearfest. I'm taking my camera so I can get some pics with all my girls. Plus there are some people coming from other stores that I have worked with. So all in all there will be around 15 to 20 of us there. The Boston Pizza won't know what has hit them when all us gorgeous women walk in for our reservation!

Well I'd better go get ready to go to work and have some breakie. I looked at the extended weather forecast today and the weather looks like it's going to be fine through to next Tuesday for Calgary, Edmonton and Ft Nelson. Just supposed to get colder but only a slight chance of scattered snow showers for Calgary next Tuesdat Oct 30. We're leaving that day so hopefully it will arrive after we've left. So it looks like all my plans for the move should hold constant. I just want a safe move. So if you can, send some prayers for a safe move our way. We'd appreciate it!
