~Ohhhh Summertime...~
This is a gorgeous summer isn't it? We all can't complain about not having summer this year! I know the heat is killing everyone but I'm finally getting used to it. I've got a summer cold from the fan but it's keeping me cool at night. I've been seeing everyone's summer holiday pics posted on Facebook and it's making me so jealous! I can't wait for our holidays!
I started looking for a new place to live over the last couple of days. It's become apparent to me that we are living in a place that is seriously overpriced! I've found us a couple of great sounding places to rent, just waiting on them to call me back. One is half a duplex with it's own yard. It would mean a commute for me to work across the city though which would suck but if it is nice enough I'll suck it up. Who knows how long I'll be in this store anyhow.
I love my store right now! It's delivering me a HUGE bonus cheque as we speak. I've managed to max out my bonus and when I'm back from holidays the cheque will come in. Randy maxed his too so we are extra lucky this quarter to work for companies that actually pay out their bonuses. This will help us pay off some bills and get closer to our year goal of paying off all our debt. I also found out how to possibly get rid of our travel trailer. I found a consignment place in Beaverlodge that will take it on and get rid of it for us. No charge to let it sit there either. So we're going to have it winterized and dropped off there, I'm confident that it will sell quickly there. We just have to be prepared for the flop though. We'll probably lose out on around $4-5000.00. But it brought us a lot of money while we used it and saved us probably 10 times that amount on accomodations on the road so I'm not sweating it. We want to sell it and then next year take a look at getting a tent trailer or a small hybrid trailer for camping. We miss camping so much and it doesn't look like we'll get out to go this year at all unless we can sneak away in the beginning of Sept. Oh well we are just a short drive to the mountains so we've taken advantage of a few picnic days there already this year.
So I work tonight and then I have Wed and Thurs off. I've got no plans, I'll probably just catch up on some cleaning that needs to be done and watch some TV. I'm off to brew a pot of coffee though, I feel the need for caffeine already...
