~Mike's Visit~

So a good time was had by all during Mike's visit last week. I was sooo sick but I sucked it up and did all the fun things we had planned. We went to the zoo on Tuesday and spent the whole HOT day there. I love going to the zoo with Mike, he knows so much about the animals, it's like having your own tour guide. I told him that when we have kids he has to play Uncle and take them to the zoo because he's smarter than me, LOL! Here are some pics from our day at the zoo!






On Wednesday Randy was off too so we took off for a leisurely drive through Kananaskis. We've never really done that drive before, it's beautiful! Lots of fairly reasonable camping, mountain views, clear streams and little waterfalls. We stopped by this one on the side of the road and got a quick shot of Randy and I. We sure love our waterfalls!

Thursday we went to Heritage Park. It was fun going there again, I haven't been for years. They've added on over the years and are doing a huge addition right now for the 1930s to 40s. We didn't last long there, the heat finally won out and we crapped out after about 3 hours. We went for lunch at the Wainwright Hotel and bought bread from the bakery though and saw most of the sites so we didn't miss out on much.

So all and all it was a fun time. I sure can't wait to go to Utah in August. It's going to be fun going somewhere new! I'm going to start buying film now, LOL so I have enough when we go! Well I'm off to work now or I'll be late!
