~Secret Shopper!~
So for a long time I've wanted to become a secret shopper. I LOVE rating places of business and I'm good at it too! So I was talking to Jess about it and she told me her Mom did it. She's visiting her Mom right now so she sent me some links and VOILA! I'm a now a secret shopper with four companies! Cool eh? There are some cool places to shop like Earls, RW & Co, the Chophouse and lots more! At some of the restaurants you will be reimbursed for a $150.00 meal! Sounds great to me! Best part of it is you have to spend the whole amount! So I think I'll take on a couple of them when we have company and take them out. There is a really long questionnaire to fill out but I don't think I'd have a problem given that there would be two or more of us to remember everything! A couple of them are for oil changes, car washes; in Edmonton area they have shoppers wanted for Save-On Food even! I wish they had that here! They want you to spend $15 (They reimburse it when you submit the receipt) and then they pay you $10 for doing it. The way I look at it is you get $25 in free groceries! But alas there are no Save On Foods in Calgary!
Had a couple of rotten days being sick. I finally went to the Dr yesterday because it just wasn't going away or getting better. I ended up with a locum cause my Dr is on Holidays and all she though was - You are pregnant. So I took a pregnancy test at the Dr office and just like I thought it came back negative. But she wasn't convinced so she had me take another one this morning at home. It too came back negative! I knew I wasn't preggo, I think it's either the flu or food poisoning. I just wanted to know so I knew how to deal with it and how long it would bug me because I have a busy weekend ahead! Thankfully today has been much better. I've been eating really mild foods and taking it easy and I feel 100% times better!
I haven't really worked all week so I'm really having a hard time looking forward to working for the next four days. I really would just love to be able to stay at home or just work part time but I don't think that's happening. I'm working on paring our budget down so we can save money for some plans next year. So far I cut our satellite down $35.oo per month, our car insurance $125.00, added $75 to my paycheque but cutting duplicate medical coverage and cut $5.75 off our phone bill. Nice easy $240+ dollars! Now I just need to redirect it to the right direction, LOL!
Another rain storm tonight. We didn't get to go on our walk because it was pouring and thundering and lightening. I really don't think that Randy minded anyhow because his attention is firmly planted on his game. No surprise there!
Anyhow, off to do a couple of emails and then to bed to get my beauty rest for the busy long weekend to come!!!
Tata for now,
Wanda
