This weekend I am going to a friends’ house to do a HUGE freezer cooking weekend. She’s not a fan of cooking and works fulltime so it will help her out and i simply love the convenience of having a meal ready to go in the freezer that isn’t a processed fast food meal! Some of the things we are making are:
- Lasagna
- Baked Spaghetti
- Chicken Cordon Blue casserole
- Meatballs
- Meatloaf
- Shepherd’s Pie
- Chicken Parmesan
- Slow cooker roast beef packs
- Marinated Flattened chicken
- Man Pleasing chicken
- plus a few others!
By the time we are done we should each end up with around 50 meals in our freezer. I’m estimating the cost to be around $5 a meal…tell me where you can beat that deal?!?! To feed a family of 3!!! I plan on taking lots of pictures and breaking down the costs so that we can repeat it and also I can share on here! This goes down this weekend, so keep posted!
For now drool over this:

This is one of the dishes we are making,
Chicken Cordon Blue casserole. I made it the last time I freezer cooked and it was a raving favorite! We are definitely making more of these! Yummo!
