So it continues…the epic renovation of our basement…we are onto the flooring in the bathroom. Randy tiled it with a slate tile because the floor is uneven in the bathroom and it hides alot…It was California Gold slate from where else? The Home Depot!
Here are pictures of the bathroom once the floor is done, I wasn’t sure when it was going down but it looks so much better with the grout. It really warmed it up and looks great. We’ve also got the washer and dryer framed in and primed. The shelves are in the corner, just waiting on the countertop to go along the side. The vanity isn’t installed yet but the vanity light is in and we need a mirror yet. The bones of the bathroom are there though so you can get the idea. The only thing we need to get still is the faucet for the sink, the countertop, a rug for the floor, a mirror, baskets for above and below the washer and dryer, the shower pan and tile. We’re trying to find a better deal on the shower pan because they are $400 just for the pan at The Home Depot…a little too pricey for me. We are also tiling the shower and carrying the tile behind the toilet and the vanity from one tile above the vanity to the floor.
