~How to Not Do Mothers' Day, Part I~

How to not do Mothers Day:

Do not be the first one up at 6am to take the small child out of bed.
Don't make the coffee.
Don't make your own breakfast.
Don't go into work when other managers without children could work.
Don't go home for lunch to find everyone sleeping and no lunch made.
Don't come home to no supper ready.
Don't come home to a filthy dirty house.
Don't make supper, feed small child, clean up after supper.
Don't clean up the whole house.
Don't do the bedtime routine with small child.
Don't do yard work because someone else didn't.
Don't go to bed without being told "Thank you for being a great Mom" from someone significant in your life.
Yeah, don't do it that way...

I'm not either, I demanded a redo. So next Sunday is Mothers' Day for me. And we (as in my family) are going to do it better this time...or else.

(I should edit to add that Randy is sick. He has been sick nonstop for the last month and just spent the weekend on the couch. So the problem was not that he forgot, he didn't, it was that he was too sick to make it a special day for me. So he's promised me a redo for next weekend to make up for it...which works good for me too because then I'm not working!)
