~My Spring Shelf Decor~

Well Easter is over and done with so it was time to decorate my shelf with something else.  Randy and I had picked up some paper cherry blossoms at the store the other day and I knew I would include them.  I made a trip to Micheals and picked up some cool items on clearance.  Needless to say, I was saying “Start the Car” as I left the store…I got some good deals!

I’ve also been working on some crafts in my not so spare time but I finally have one of them done.  I got the idea from a blog I visit frequently for ideas.  Such a creative group of gals at How Does She and great ways to use things that you have laying around too.  I did one of their 2x4 projects and I LOVE how it turned out.  I will be doing variations of this one again I’m sure!  This is my take on it, I made some changes to make it more my style.

Here is my shelf with my newest decor for summer.  I still need to find some thing to put in my new apothecary jar…I can’t decide what it will be at this point but I’ll find something!  It fills springlike to me!
