Well the Easter egg hunt this year was a bit more successful once we let Ethan eat one of the eggs and he saw the reward in looking around a bit more. Once again we did not get the eggs early enough and were stuck with slim pickings when we went to pick them up. So Ethan had very pricey eggs, some fancy chocolatier, I hope he doesn’t get used to that type of treatment, LOL!
Anyhow, here are the pics of our Easter, a little late but whatever!
He got a chocolate bunny, some eggs, some peeps, a pack of crayons, and a couple of bendy rabbits. I’m not really into commercializing every holiday with gifts etc. I want it to be about family time, the actual meaning of the holiday and creating lasting family memories, not a memory of what size of gift he gets for each holiday. I have nothing against people that do, it’s just not for us!
Anyhow, looking forward to many more holidays of sharing family time with my boys.
