Well because we haven’t already taken on a big enough project…see this post if you forgot already…we’ve decided to take on another project in the next couple of months as well. It just so happened that I was just checking out some blogs today and stumbled on this blog: Fingerprints on the Fridge.
As it happens I have always had a thing for neat, tidy and organized mud room/entryway. In this house we have a really nice back entry and it is the one that we use to come and go from the house. It has a lot of room and a lot of potential. So I took inspiration from this:
and have plans to do this in our entry. In reality it will only cost at most $200. And likely less because we already have a lot of the wood laying around. Of course my handy dandy hubby Randy and I will do the work ourselves!
I just love the clean lines of this! I have a closet that I’m going to incorporate into this design but continuing the white around and through the closet and making our shoe rack bigger. We will also build in a box for recycling because that is where we store our bottles and cans until we take them out to garage. I can picture it already…can’t wait!
Keep posted, I’ve been finding some great ideas online this weekend and have some plans to do some crafty stuff in the next little bit!
