~Long time No talkie…~

 

Well I fell off the blogging wagon this month…it’s been fun since Randy came home.  Lots of relaxing time and getting back into the rhythm of things of having two big people in the house. 

I really want to take a holiday, like today;  but I will settle for the three days off that I’m enjoying right now.  I’m hoping to be able to take a cruise next year.  I think I’m going to secretly save money and not tell Randy until I book it…wouldn’t that be nice!  I probably should just put the money on our debt instead though and be responsible…

Anyhow, I’m going to do crafts tomorrow.  I’ve found an AWESOME craft blog that is blowing my mind!!!  I”m going to make this tomorrow for my house:

I am bidding on some fabric on Ebay that will match my house decor really well and am hoping that it comes in quickly!  But I’m going to check out Fabricland to see if they have anything nice I could use in the meantime.  If not, I will cut out all the burlap circles and get the wreath form ready until I get the Fabric in.  It looks like a cute project and I can’t wait to give it a try!!!

I’m going to hunt up something else fun to make if I can’t complete this one.  I may even venture into my scrapbook room and play…it’s been so long!!!

Anyhow, the first day off was great!  I cleaned house, baked bread and 2 loaves of banana bread.  We went for groceries, did a mystery shop, and bought a pantry for our kitchen.  Tomorrow we will demo the desk in our kitchen and shift all the cabinets and the fridge over to install the pantry on the end of the run against the center wall.  I think I’m going to get some magnetic paint and chalkboard paint and paint the side of the pantry so that it can be a bulletin board area for us.  I currently use the fridge but it will be covered when we put in the pantry.  I’ll have to see if it is affordable and if I can do it in the winter without opening windows…it may need to wait until summertime.

Also tomorrow I’m going out for a bit on my own to do a little shopping.  Mostly just window shopping but it will be nice to just get out on my own and snoop around a bit.  We might be losing our Liquidation World here so I want to go and find out.  I also want to hit a couple of Dollar stores just because; and of course Micheals and Fabricland.  I have a few mystery shops to do tomorrow and we need to run to Costco but otherwise I get to play!

Monday, no plans…just plan on sitting around the house and maybe making a snowman with Ethan in the back yard.  It’s supposed to be up to +2 here on Monday…my kind of February weather!!!  I will share pictures if it does take place!!!

So that’s it for now…I’ll be blogging a bit more in the next few days and hopefully sharing my crafting projects!!!
