Well we got the call on Monday, Ethan is due to be at the Stollery Children’s Hospital next Monday Jan 18 for a consult with a pediatric gastroblahblah (yeah can’t spell that one!). It is THE appointment that should lead to finding out if there is anything wrong with his repair site or if I’m losing it and making things up in my head.
I’m a little bit overwhelmed that it is next Monday as we have to rearrange my work schedule, drive on winter roads to Edmonton plus Randy has to miss a day of school. There are no tests booked so I’m worried that it will just be a meeting which in my mind is a wasted trip without doing the tests at the same time. So I’m debating on calling to make sure that it won’t be just that.
On the flip side I’m hoping to have a visit with some friends while there and of course we get to see Randy again.
Please send some good thoughts our way that we can get the most out of this trip to the Stollery and get things figured out for our little man.
He was seriously cute then,
and is totally cute now
so we want the best for him.
