~Big News!~

Well I've been dragging my heels and waiting to post about our big news until we know for sure but I keep getting emails asking what it's all about! So I figured I would let the cat out of the bag early.

We are trying to buy a house! So excited to be finally looking into getting a place of our own! We have an offer down on a house right now and we have already placed one counter offer...just waiting till tomorrow when they get back to us with their counter...such a drawn out process. The house we want is a foreclosure so we are dealing with a bank and things move very slowly...

It's a nice house, bungalow style, 1168 sq feet, double car garage, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, developed basement, hardwood floors, new lino, nice neighbourhood with mature trees. We would have to do some updating to the house as it is 37 years old and some areas of the house are showinf the age but it's in really good condition and we are praying we get it. We would be buying it at almost $30,000 below it's appraised value because it's a foreclosure. It sure would be nice to walk into a house with equity like that in it.

Anyhow, that's the news. Exciting for us and we can't wait to hear what comes back tomorrow!!! I'll keep you posted!
