~Monday Musings~

Wow. lots to catch up on! We've been laying low here in the far North. We had a fabulous visit for a week with my friend, and Ethans special Aunt, Jess who flew up from Calgary. We were lucky to have good weather while she was here and had a great time. We didn't do much, it was a much deserved break for her after the brutal Christmas Holidays of work in the retail industry. She spoiled him rotten of course and bought him soooo many cute outfits! I hope the little sucker doesn't grow out of them before he gets a few wears!

A few shots of the big boy in our chair in his room before bed. In his new PJs that Auntie Jess bought! I swear he poses for the camera!!! I have to say the last one is my favorite! He looks positively impish in it!!! I sure wish I had the flexibility that kid does...






Not much new with us. I did my second month of Husky Audits and it still feels like taking money from babies...Plus I landed a contract with another company to do Tobacco audits in Macs stores in Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Valleyview, and High Prairie. I can do them at the same time I do my Husky audits so it makes the trips out of town a little sweeter! These audits take less then 5 minutes and I make $15 for the in town ones and $25 for the out of town. Easy money!

I finally found a daycare here in town that I think will work out. It is a day home but the lady has been doing it for almost 5 years and she is really great with the kids. Ethan has been there one and a half days and depending if he's feeling better this week (he has a bit of a cold) he'll go for another day. She's taking him just part time right now and when I go to work fulltime he'll go full time. It's a ways from our house for Grande Prairie standards but it is worth it to me. I didn't cry the first day, I was quite impressed. The second day was not as easy as I headed out of town to do work. But I got through it.

Well I'll leave it at that. I'm going to try to blog a bit more. I'm getting more organized right now before I have to go back to work. I'm not really looking forward to that!!! Anyhow, catch you later, hope you enjoyed the pics!
