So here is my little guy at 1 month, so little and precious with his wicked heat rash all over his face!
Here is 2 months!
And 3 months!
I didn't miss 4 months!
5 months was fun, kick, kick!!!
And here we are at 6 months!
We had our follow-up appt with the neonatologist on Wednesday and I'm happy to report that he thinks that Ethan is doing wonderful! He didn't feel that we had any need to do another barium dye test at this point to check his esophagus. That was a relief. We did decide to go ahead and do another ultrasound of his kidneys though just to check on the two cysts that they found at birth. Our Dr. felt that they were not anything to be worried about but he told me that if I wanted to that they would check. So we decided to go ahead, just to put my mind at ease. He gave us the green light to proceed to solid foods and suggested that we start with peas to help his pooping problem. So I pureed some peas today and after his nap we'll have some fun and see how that goes.
We got his measurements that day too. He is now at 26.9 inches long, and 17lbs, 6oz. Wowsers! He is so long! He wears 12 month sleepers and onsies and can get away with 3-6 month pants...he's all torso! We are very near crawling...he is getting more and more movement every day. So I ordered a baby gate last night and we get it put into place next weekend. Tigger is going to hate that! We're not quite sure how he's going to handle it...but he'll have to deal with it.
We plan on trying to take Ethan to the pool tomorrow but we'll see how our schedule is. I'm supposed to be taking some pictures for my friend and her husband and helping her with an accounting program. Plus it is supposed to $*&#$*& Snow $%#$#% here today...and it looks like they will be right.
Anyhow that's what is new in our little corner of the world. It's a Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary to my Aunt Marion and Uncle George this weekend, Mom is there helping them celebrate! Don't have too much fun now Mom, eh?
