Meet Gizmo, one of Grandma Grounds' newest pups. Totally cute! He was playing with Ethan and I thought he was licking his toes until Ethan started crying, then I realized he was biting them! Little turkey!

This is the addition at Moms house that Randy and I went down and renovated. This is the before picture...Mom had alreay packed the salt & Peppers and most of the furniture away but you can see the walls...

This is half way through. The walls are now painted and the shelves are going up! We put a whole wall of shelves up for Mom to house her salt & pepper collection. I will get some pics of the wall once they are all unpacked so you can see them!

The finished product! It made the room so much brighter and airy! It was such a gloomy room! I can't wait to see all the salt & peppers on the shelves! I'm hoping Mom gets it done before she comes up and takes some pics on her digital camera so I can snag a couple to post here! We still have to do the trim work but we didn't have a brad nailer with us so we'll come back in the spring and take care of it.

We made it to Hanna to visit Melissa, Mike and kids for the day on Saturday for my birthday. It was such a fun day and we got to see their newly renovated house! Oh so nice! We had takeout for supper and I had a birthday drink with Melissa. Melissa of course gave Ethan lots of love while we were there! He sure liked her!

On our drive home on Sunday we stopped in St Albert and had breakfast with Mike. It was nice to see him again. He is dreading this week...back to school for him! I don't know if I could handle being a schoolteacher with all that time off and then having to go back...arrghhh. Anyhow, Ethan was giggling at him and Mike thought that was pretty neat!

Finally here's my little guy on the drive home. Like I mentioned in another post, I sat in the back with him on the way home. Grandma Grounds gave him that little blue teddy bear rattle when we were at his house and he's been loving it up ever since. I couldn't resist this little shot!
