Apparently I can't take off any time from my blog! I posted the last entry yesterday and woke up today to 2 emails and got two phone calls about it. So apparently I raised some red flags. I would hate to get anyone in a fluff so I'm back!
I'll fill you in on what is going on quickly and then I'm moving onwards from there, K? So I was at home at Moms for almost a week, just me and Ethan. Randy stayed home because he was on week two of his new job and we didn't want to ask for any time off. Sooo the day I was heading for home, Randy calls and tells me that he was let go. Yup, two weeks into it and the guy fired him. He decided to go with an internal candidate that had previously turned down the position. So not fair. Really not fair. So I've been trying to stay positive and acknowledge that there is a plan for us but yesterday was a low day.
On a happy note Randy talked to Brent today (he called a week ago and asked Randy to go back to work for him) and he will be starting with him again. It will be some construction work for now and then turning to oilfield service work for the winter. So I'm hoping that goes well. Randy is driving pizza right now and we are getting by on that with my maternity leave. We really need to get a plan of action though because once my maternity leave is over we are going to be in a pickle. So we're working on being proactive for that.
So that is all...don't want to dwell on it.
In other news...this is a fun little clip of my beautiful niece Jenn and her new husband Robin as they entered the reception last weekend. With their wedding song to boot!!! I set my camera to the function I call 'Chinese Tourist' and took pics of them walking in the room. They obviously noticed that I was going paparozzi on them!
I took so many pictures that it will take me forever to share them all! So I'm going to do a few slide shows and that will hopefully get the majority of them out there that I want to share.
Thought I would share some deals that I found out about today for my Canadian readers. At photolab.ca (Superstore Photolab) they have a sale this week on their pictures...49 cents for up to an 8x10! Plus if you sign up for an account they will usually give you photo credits. I got 50 free prints when I signed up about a month ago. Also Kodakgallery.ca has a promotion right now that when you sign up you get a free pocket photobook. It's a 14 page book of pictures however you design it! So I'm working on creating one of them right now! So that's the picture deals I came across today that I thought I would share!
