~Busy Monday!~

What a busy day for us today! We were up at 5:30am, Ethan and I to get ready for our day. He was dressed and fed, I showered and had breakfast then had to get Randy's lunch togethter. I folded laundry, emptied the dishwasher and reloaded it, chatted on my message board and paid some bills, all before Randy was up to go to work at 8am. Then we loaded everyone into the SUV and dropped Randy off at work. By then Ethan was ready to eat again so we came home, both of us ate again, watched a little Tv and then went to our Dr's appt.

My little guy is getting big!!! He is over 10lbs now and is 22inches long. The Dr was like "Is his father tall?" I laughed! So she told me to expect a tall kid. Like I didn't think that would happen anyhow, LOL! But he is doing well, she's very happy with his development. He making up for his rough start in leaps and bounds I tell ya! He was at the 10th percentile for his age group at 2 weeks and now at 8weeks he's at the 40th! Wowsers!

As it turns out I am fine too! Imagine that! I confessed to her that I haven't taken my blood pressure meds since I had Ethan and she said that my blood pressure was perfect so if I monitor at home then I should be okay to stay off the medication. That made my day! So I'm going to do that.

So after the Dr's appt we were supposed to run some errands but I was wiped out and not feeling well so we came home and chillaxed until we had to run out and pick Randy up at 3pm. Then we came home, made supper and Randy was off to his 2nd job by 4pm. Crazy! Ethan and I crawled into bed and had a two hour nap...highlight of my day! Since then we've been hanging out in the scrapping room. He's not wanting to go to sleep right now...so I'm going to wait it out, give him a bottle and he'll eventually go to sleep.

Anyhow other news is that this weekend was my nephew Cole's graduation from kindergarten. I was supposed to go and do the pictures but I wasn't feeling well and had had no sleep so I didn't think that being in a room full of kindergarteners with special needs was a good plan so I stayed at home. My sister got some pics though and so I'm sharing a few of them.

Cole is the little guy with the glasses. Arent' the little cap and gowns too cute!!!

How many people does it take to get a paper hat to stay on???

Still trying!
