~Leaving on a Greyhound....~

Yup, tonight is the night...Randy is getting on the Greyhound tonight to leave me, Tigger and baby to fend for ourselves for a couple of weeks while he works in Grande Prairie. The shitty thing is that the bus leaves at 3am!!! Oh my god does that ever suck! So not only will I be weepy and whiny because he's leaving but also because I have to get out of my warm and comfy bed, go out into the cold night and drop him off. So even though I've been pretty calm about this the last couple of days Randy told me tonight at supper that he is already preparing himself for me to cry my head off. He can't handle it when I cry...sometimes I use that to my advantage I admit, but not at times like this. I know it will be as hard for him as it is for us.

At least I get to sleep in our nice, comfy bed with Tigger purring on my head. He gets the bottom bunk of Cole's bed. I hope Mary gets a picture of that for me!!! He doesn't mind though, it's a place to sleep, LOL! He's got a couple of appointments tomorrow to see some duplexes for rent. There are lots available in GP right now so getting one that fits our needs best will be fairly easy. Prices are still high there but he's found a couple that are reasonable already. So hopefully that happens quickly, he's hoping to move in to one by the 20th by himself and getting it cleaned and ready for me and everything to move in.

My work week has flown by so fast. I've been busy so that always helps time go by. I predict a bit of a slowdown next week but it all depends on how many people get evicted. That will dramatically increase my workload. I want to be done work on the 21st but I have a sneaking suspicion that I will be talked into staying until the end of the month. They still have not hired anyone for my position here so they are hoping that someone can be found that I can train before I leave. I'll have to see how I'm feeling before I commit to staying because the stairs are becoming harder and harder to do. Baby has definately moved upwards because my breathing is getting a bit constricted and I can no longer bend over very easily. I'm not going to be having any baths now that Randy is gone because I'm scared of getting stuck in the bathtub! Wouldn't that be fun!?!

Well I should run, I feel like some chocolate ice cream. It's not like I'll be sleeping very well tonight anyhow, may as well enjoy myself a bit before eh?

Randy is of course having fun before he leaves. He won't have his beloved WOW game in GP to play so he has been actively getting his fill for the last couple of days. Here he is, enjoying himself immensly!!!
