~I've been scrapping!!!~

So I know this will sound odd since I talk about it alot but I actually spent some time doing actual scrapbooking instead of just talking about it and/or shopping for it last night. I did a LO for my baby's first album and if I had any energy left I would post it for you tonight, alas I do not have any energy. I had fun scrapping though so I'm going to spend more time at it. Randy built the shelves for me on the weekend and so I spent some time in there organizing before starting last night. Once I have it totally set-up in a way that I love I will post some pics. I do really love my little nook though, it's just perfect for me and my obsession!

I finally got a chance to connect the wireless router that my sister Mary sent us. I spent two and a half teary-eyed, frustrated hours figuring it out and then finally found online live chat tech support and had it set up in like 5 minutes. Love technology sometimes! So I am now online plus I am wirelessly connected to the printer as well. So cool! Now I just need to buy some ink for the printer (online cause they don't sell it here, LOL!) and I'll be on my way!

Talked to my Mom tonight. She went and bought herself a treat today. A 40" plasma screen tv, surround sound system and entertainment center. I'm happy for her. She was using our old tv, which is still a good tv but only 25" so I'm sure she'll love watching tv on her big screen now! I can't wait to see it at Christmas!

I was going to book our flight today but I forgot to put the money on our credit card to pay for it so I have to wait till tomorrow for the payment to go through. We're flying into Edmonton on the 21st and I'm thinking about spending the night there and going to do some shopping on Sat but I'm not sure yet. Then we fly home early on the 27th as I have to work that day. I'm pretty confident that I'm going to have a pretty busy month for leasing in Dec so my commissions should be really good. I've started pricing out some stuff for baby and wowsers! I'm having a bit of a heart attack! Thankfully I may be able to get some stuff from my family and friends to help out a bit. The one thing that I really want to buy new is the car seat/stroller system. I found one that I think I'll really like online so I'm hoping to see it in real life in Edmonton at Christmas. I'm not going to go too overboard with stuff for baby, we just don't have room. A bouncy seat, stroller, car seat, crib/bassinet, a walker thingy as baby gets older, a high chair seat and some really cool teething toys that my friend Chantel (who has a little one) has been sharing with me! I'm having a hard time 'nesting' in such a small place. If we are still here (which is a whole other story) in February I might move across the hall to the 2 bdrm that they are renoing. It should be done by end of Feb. It would give us some much needed room.

Not much else new. Trying to find a Dr and a hairstylist this week. Dr not so hard but the hairdresser is proving to be a collosal challenge! The one girl that everyone refers me to has no opening till mid January!!! Holey crap! I've left messages elsewhere and got no response. So if I look like a shaggy mutt at Christmas and in some of the pics on here in the next little while know that I am trying!!! I wish I could just go see my hairdresser in Grande Prairie! I always had good luck with her!

Well I'm dying of heartburn so I'm off to find some milk and a Tums before bed. They seem to be my night cap lately...
