~Sleep...~

Why is it that I can't sleep? I had the sniffles, sneezes, coughs and shakes all night last night and finally gave up at 6am and called in sick to work so I could try to get some rest today. Of course the phone rang and it was work at 9:30am. Ummm didn't I get the message across that I was sleeping? Now of course I'm wide awake, have a huge headache and can't get back to sleep. Pair that with a hunger like nothing else and I'm a force to be reckoned with. I might just have to go get something to eat. I have no groceries in my house right now, I ate them all, LOL!

As much as I usually would feel guilty for not going to work today I don't. I'm so freaking tired that I shouldn't even be driving and it's a half hour drive to the store I was working at today. I need to stop trying to do everything and take it easy. I worked my buns of yesterday, 9.5 hrs with only a half hour lunch break. It was okay while I was doing it but I'm paying now.

Onto some exciting news!!! 9 More SLEEPS till Randy comes home!!! They will actually be driving down the day that Randy flies into Dawson Creek. They are leaving after Cole is out of school at 3pm so they won't be here till really, really late. That's okay, I can't sleep anyhow so I'll be up waiting!!! Also my Mommy will be here that day too, the 24th is going to be a big day for me! She's coming down to see us before we leave.

I'm determined to come home for Christmas though! I'm reserving my room at Mikes' house now! Oh crap I can't! He's going to Maui for Christmas! I know...must be nice eh? So...Curtis, Chantel...any takers?!?!? We're very well behaved, clean up after ourselves... We probably will need to spend a night or two in Edmonton as we will be flying in, not driving. So a night on the way down and a night on the way back. We will likely get hotel rooms since it's such a busy time of year and everyone is travelling, we don't want to be a pain in anybody's side. I think we will be coming from the 21st to the 28th or maybe the 30th. Not sure. You'll know when I know, LOL!!! I'm already excited! I haven't had Christmas at home now for like ever! Not a rushed one at least!

Anyhow, I must find food...I always seem to end my post like that....I have an eating problem...
