~Big News To Announce Today!~

So I hinted at a big news announcement a couple of days ago... now the time is right to let you all know. No I'm not pregnant...yet. I've decided to leave my job with Reitmans and follow Randy to Ft Nelson, BC to work as a leasing agent. This job will allow us the opportunity to pay off bills, get ahead and start a family. Which was on our wish list this year. With this we get an apartment rent free, utility free. I get a gas allowance every month which will cover our fuel, and most importantly we will be together again. I know we didn't even spend a full month apart before we decided to make this change but it is important to me that we be together.

So this job will be for approximatly 13-15 months and when it's done I'm hoping to be around 8 months pregnant so I can move to Grande Prairie, have our baby and go on maternity leave and not work for a couple of years. I know, grand plan eh? But why do things in a small way? Go all the way with your plan and goals or go home right? So we will be leaving the great city of Calgary for the frosty, snowy and oh-so-far north town of Ft Nelson at the end of the month. I start my new job beginning of November.

I gave my notice today to Reitmans and though they are dissappointed they understand. They are the best company that I have ever worked for and would return to them in a heartbeat if my circumstances changed. They have told me that if I ever wanted they would rehire me in the same position at the same salary, no questions asked. That is very good of them I think. Truly if you are looking for a place to work, I highly reccommend them!

So now the rush begins to pack and get ready for the move. I plan on trying to have my Christmas cards ready to go before I leave, that may or may not happen... so if you don't get one from me again this year, I'm really sorry, life is crazy! On a happy note we may be able to have some time off for Christmas to go home. Sounds like the office is closed from the 21 to the 3rd or something. So depending on the weather we may make it, we could even fly into Edmonton and then have someone pick us up if the roads were bad too. We'll know more once I'm there.

Onto other fun news! I had a blast in Edmonton this weekend, it was so nice to see everyone and finally get to sit down with Chantal to chat! I got the spend Saturday morning with Curtis and then supper that night at Chantals. Mike and I hung out Friday night, and all day Sunday. We went to church on Sunday which was really nice. It was nice to be able to go again. We made two trips to Ikea... one of my fav stores! Plus I hit a scrapping store on my way home on Monday. I got me some goodies!!! I'd say fun was had by all this weekend!

But I'm off to start our Christmas cards, hope everyone had a great weekend, can't wait to catch up with you all!!!
